Celebrating the Powerful Women of HIP

HIP Organizers Cha Vang and Mai Yang Vang were nominated for recognition at Sacramento's inaugural Women's Appreciation Awards hosted by Congresswoman Doris Matsui, Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg and Assemblymember Roger Dickinson.HIP was also nominated for Organization of the Year!

The awards ceremony marks the end of Women’s HERstory Month, which occurred throughout March. The event seeks to raise awareness of the contributions local women are making to improve our region, California, and our nation.
